A tribute to where our story began.
Before it became the home of North + Rose, our building was home to the Mississippi Creamery, a local butter factory that operated from 1921 to 1971. For fifty years, this space was filled with the craftsmanship, hard work and sense of community that helped shape Carleton Place.
The Creamery was created to honour that history.
Inspired by the comforting aroma of fresh cream, warm butter, vanilla bean and flaky pastry, this scent is nostalgic, inviting and quietly luxurious—reminiscent of a bakery just beginning its day and the timeless charm of the original creamery.
Hand-poured in small batches with premium soy wax, an FSC-certified wood wick and a fragrance free from ingredients classified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction (CMR), it's a candle that celebrates both our past and our future.
